Job Summary
Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral and mental health needs, using person-centered approaches focused on safety, skill-building, and positive engagement. Implement behavior support plans, treatment plans, crisis-prevention strategies, de-escalation techniques, and manual restraint procedures as trained. Maintain a clean, safe living environment; assist with daily living skills, transportation, activities, and community engagement. Document services and health observations in electronic systems; monitor behavioral changes and communicate with supervisors during crises. Collaborate with family, case managers, and other professionals; follow all individual support plans and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience providing mental or behavioral health services
- valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
