Mental Health Social Worker

Job Summary
Mental Health Social Worker delivering psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, advocacy, and therapeutic support to SRSS participants with complex mental health and psychosocial needs within a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, crisis response and safety planning, and supporting participants to build independent living skills, with a hybrid work arrangement from the Parramatta office in NSW. Requires a Social Work degree (4-year undergraduate or 2-year Master’s) and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker status or equivalent specialist experience; prior experience with multicultural communities and crisis situations is highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year undergraduate degree or a two-year Master’s degree in Social Work accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker status, or specialist training and experience supporting people with diagnosed mental health conditions
