Mental Health RN

Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health across Adolescent Psychiatry, General Adult, Geriatric Psychiatry, Mood Disorders, and Transitional Youth units. Under supervision of the Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator, provides comprehensive, patient-centered care, assesses and documents plans of care, coordinates and evaluates care, and may serve as charge nurse and preceptor. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN staff, coordinating patient care activities, ensuring continuity and quality of care, and supporting multiple behavioral health units as needed. Qualifications include RN license in Connecticut and BLS; BSN preferred. Experience in neuro care and procedures such as neuro assessments, airway management for neuro patients, suctioning, and ventilator care is noted. Responsibilities also encompass education for patients and families, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to unit policies.
