Job Summary
Deliver Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS) by facilitating skill-building, psychoeducation, and rehabilitation services for youth and families. Reinforce treatment goals established by the clinical team while teaching healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and independent living skills. Support crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation using trauma-informed practices, and coordinate services with residential staff, social workers, probation officers, schools, and community partners. Participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and multidisciplinary treatment meetings, while maintaining accurate electronic health records in compliance with CalAIM, DHCS, STRTP, and Medi-Cal requirements. Complete weekly clinical supervision documentation for co-signature.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in a field related to the mental health treatment of children and adolescents
- Bachelor's degree
- Associate degree
- At least 2 years of qualifying full-time mental health experience
- At least 4 years of qualifying full-time mental health experience
