Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including diagnostic interviews and psychological testing, for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and trauma-related disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy. Provide therapeutic support while collaborating with families, schools, and primary care physicians to ensure coordinated care. Maintain detailed clinical documentation of all client interactions and progress. This part-time or full-time role offers a minimum of 10 hours weekly, with benefits including health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) for those working 25 hours or more. Our practice specializes in diverse therapies including sand tray therapy within a collaborative Pennsylvania office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Specialization in working with children and adolescents
- Clinical skills to perform thorough mental health evaluations
- Ability to conduct diagnostic interviews
- Ability to administer psychological testing
- Ability to gather collateral information
- Ability to create tailored treatment plans
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions
- Ability to implement cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Ability to implement play therapy
- Ability to implement family therapy
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to developmental needs
- Ability to engage parents, guardians, and family members in the treatment process
- Ability to provide psychoeducation
- Ability to collaborate with schools
- Ability to collaborate with primary care physicians
- Ability to collaborate with other relevant professionals
- Ability to maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
- Ability to write progress notes
- Minimum of 10 hours per week availability
