Job Summary
Mental Health Professionals at Crisis Solutions Center provide stabilization services within a multidisciplinary team, conducting psychosocial assessments, facilitating individual and group counseling, completing risk and safety assessments, and developing short-term care and discharge plans. Responsibilities include linking clients to community resources, participating in staff trainings and clinical reviews, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and performing related administrative duties. Must apply Recovery Principles, Crisis Intervention and Stabilization, integrated treatment of co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care, with familiarity with DSM-5; work includes de-escalation and occasional physical interventions, client wellness checks, transportation of clients when needed, and adherence to agency policies. Requires participation in onboarding and mandatory trainings; unionized setting under SEIU Healthcare 1199NW.
