Job Summary

Provide direct clinical, consultation, and counseling services to persons served under clinical leadership direction. Conduct mental health screenings and assessments, complete treatment plans including ASAM tools, and respond to sick calls, referrals, and crisis intervention requests. Deliver individual and group counseling while completing clinical documentation in CorEMR. Support pre-release planning for CalAIM-eligible individuals, perform quality assurance activities, and provide training and consultation to facility staff. This PRN role requires a minimum of four shifts monthly, including weekend and holiday coverage. Candidates must be licensed in the state of practice with a Master's degree.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related mental health discipline
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the State of practice – e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist
  • Must maintain all licensures, certifications, continuing educational requirements, etc.
  • One (1) or more years of experience
  • Experience with substance use disorders and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
  • Comfortable with crisis management
  • Comfortable with severe mental illness
  • Comfortable with brief, solution focused interventions
  • Comfortable with substance use and withdrawal awareness
  • Comfortable with boundary setting & manipulation awareness
  • Comfortable with interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Comfortable with emotional resilience
  • Comfortable with 5150/5250 mechanics
  • Comfortable with Title 15 & BSCC Standards
  • Comfortable with CalAIM continuity of care
  • Minimum commitment of four shifts per month
  • Availability for one weekend shift
  • Availability for one major holiday
  • Availability for one minor holiday
  • PRN status

Desired Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years of experience preferred
  • Experience with substance use disorders and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred
