Mental Health Professional Full-Time -Grant County

Interview inmates on suicide watch, assess suicide risk, and triage mental health requests from medical and correctional staff. Utilize therapeutic interventions to assist identified inmates during incarceration while conducting psychosocial evaluations and mental status exams. Render accurate diagnoses, develop individualized treatment plans with client assistance, and monitor progress. Ensure prompt responses in emergency situations and incorporate discharge planning techniques with outside resource referrals. Maintain up-to-date, concise, and accurate documentation. Requires a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work, current valid license, and strong ethical character with annual continuing education.
