Job Summary
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for developing and implementing individual programs for adults with behavioral health challenges in a residential treatment facility. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in adult behavioral health services. The role involves supervising program implementation, conducting mental status exams, providing supportive counseling, and advocating for individuals with external agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human service or related field or other Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience
- 1 year experience in adult behavioral health services
- Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Certification in CPR and crisis intervention
- Ability to perform all aspects of self-care training for individuals
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
- Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
