Job Summary
The Mental Health Professional will provide outpatient clinical treatment services to patients with mental health diagnoses, developing and facilitating assessments and therapeutic interventions (individual, group, family) and treatment plans within an outpatient/partial hospitalization framework. Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory-compliant documentation, participating in care coordination and case management, collaborating with clinical teams to determine appropriate services, arranging referrals to other levels of care, liaising with external and internal services, and contributing to quality assurance and performance improvement activities. The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and professional clearances (CPR, Act 34/33/73 FBI) and HIPAA/privacy compliance. The position is based in Belle Vernon, PA, within the Allegheny Health Network/Highmark Health system, and involves adherence to ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education (School Counseling), or related field
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- HIPAA compliance and related privacy and information security policies
