Job Summary
Provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consult with a multi-disciplinary team. Conduct intake and assessments, deliver crisis intervention, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual and group therapy. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Requires a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, an active Florida mental health license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, MH, or SW Registered Intern), and Basic Life Support certification. Two years of direct care experience with individuals with mental illness is preferred. Candidates must pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance. Registered Interns earn $75K; fully licensed professionals earn $85K. NHSC loan repayment is available for fully licensed staff.
Required Qualifications
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution
- Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, MH or SW Registered Interns
- Must have active Basic Life Support certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness
