Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions while delivering trauma-informed, psycho-educational interventions to support treatment objectives. Maintain accurate, timely case records and documentation per licensing and Medicaid standards, ensuring continuity of care. Coordinate Individualized Service Plans with stakeholders and collaborate with case professionals, including school personnel and juvenile justice representatives, to align client goals. Facilitate crisis intervention to help clients navigate and stabilize during critical situations. Present case updates in formal settings such as FAPT meetings, IEP sessions, and court appearances. Participate in supervision based on licensure level and maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. This variable rate position offers flexible scheduling and consistent referral volume within a stable, mission-driven organization focused on delivering coordinated, evidence-based care across Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- At least 1 year of experience working with the identified population
- Current QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure (e.g., Resident in Counseling, Supervisee, Associate license)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete background checks and credential verification
