Mental Health Practitioner, Employment Specialist

Maintain a caseload and provide employment and advocacy services to clients with mental illness. Assist individuals in identifying employment strengths and overcoming barriers while working with potential employers, current employers, and co-workers. Collaborate with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and other allied agencies to develop community-based jobs and prepare supportive services. Assess employment challenges to determine interventions and consult with case managers and medical staff regarding vocational activities. Lead or co-lead groups, maintain clinical and billing records, and chart client contacts in medical records. Develop referral information for DVR, negotiate plans, and produce timely reports.
