Job Summary
Participate in clinical aspects of patient care within a correctional environment under the supervision of an RN, HSA, or physician. Provide quality care and respond to patient needs while maintaining nursing standards and ethics in accordance with State Board of Nursing regulations. Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement to ensure standard and ethical care delivery. Requires a current LPN license, BLS certification, and a national or state-approved nursing degree.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program
- Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment
- American Heart Association BLS certified
