Job Summary
Mental Health Medical Assistant role supporting psychiatric providers: administer medications as prescribed, maintain administrative and clinical records, recognize symptoms and intervene or refer, provide education and psychosocial support to patients and families, assist with disability/prescription forms, coordinate with therapists and other providers, prepare the office for patient appointments, and participate in scheduling, intake, and follow-up activities at an on-site, full-time clinic in Iowa City.
Required Qualifications
- Current/valid CMA certification or licensure as an LPN by the State of Iowa
