Mental Health Intake Specialist - RN

Coordinate care with physicians and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and evaluate treatment for patients with acute psychiatric symptoms. Administer medications while scanning patients and orders using eMar, ensuring safe medication reconciliation on admission, transfer, and discharge. Provide patient education on diagnoses, prescribed treatments, and symptom management, then document interventions and patient responses within the Recovery Plan. Support inpatient units during admission onboarding and patient discharge, while maintaining appropriate boundaries and utilizing least restrictive interventions.
