Job Summary
Provide patient onboarding for in-patient units and support for discharge; coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient care; administer medications with safe medication practices and document interventions; utilize eMar for scanning, transcription, and reconciliation of medications on admission, transfer, and discharge; conduct individual and group interventions within the milieu for behavioral and safe management of patients; maintain appropriate boundaries and least restrictive interventions; collaborate on treatment planning and patient safety; educate patients and families about diagnoses, prescribed treatments, and symptom management; renew licensure and complete mandatory educational, health screening, CPR, and CPI requirements with documentation; support unit staff with discharging patients and adherence to policies and standards; note the opportunity is with HCA Healthcare Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness Center within Trident Health and may include comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- No Travel Required
- 3 years experience Required Years of Experience
