Job Summary
Mental Health Group Facilitator (MS) to provide remote telehealth group therapy for adolescents and young adults. role requires a Master’s degree in mental health and experience facilitating groups across modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI). Responsibilities include onboarding within 2 weeks, monthly supervision/check-ins, prompt communication, reviewing curriculum prior to group, arriving early to facilitate hour-long groups, maintaining engagement and group cohesion, collaborating with treatment team, documenting notes within 24 hours, and adhering to ethics and confidentiality. Position is part-time/1099 with evening/weekend availability, remote work, and state background checks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Master's degree in mental health or related field
- Experience working with youth and young adults
- Experience facilitating group treatment using multiple modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification a plus)
- Ability to conduct group treatment effectively via telehealth
- Creative and engaging in a video format
- Ability to work effectively in a team and with care coordination
- Technical ability to run telehealth sessions and use cloud-based software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox) and EMR/outcomes survey software
- Willingness to complete state background checks as required by role (e.g., fingerprint background check for certain states)
- Reliable WIFI connection
- Familiarity with required privacy and confidentiality standards
- Part-time 1099 role (contract)
