Job Summary
Facilitate remote group therapy sessions for adolescents and young adults via telehealth, leading groups for up to an hour and ensuring engagement and cohesion. Onboarding within 2 weeks, monthly check-ins with a Quality Supervisor, and prompt communication are required. Work with a collaborative care team to integrate DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI modalities, schedule groups in late afternoons/evenings and Saturdays, and complete treatment documentation within 24 hours. Role is part-time and 1099; requires a Master’s degree in mental health and experience working with youth. Strong technical setup for telehealth (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, EMR, outcomes software) and adherence to clinical standards (DHCS, Joint Commission). Also includes background checks as mandated by state requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mental health or related field
- Experience working with youth and young adults
- Competence in multiple modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI)
- Ability to run effective telehealth sessions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable WIFI and cloud-based software proficiency
- Part-time 1099 availability
- Willingness to complete state background checks
