Job Summary
Patient Advocate real-time liaison for clinics, physicians, medical staff, and patients, coordinating testing services, reviewing test request forms and documentation, confirming insurance eligibility and benefits, and explaining coverage and turnaround times. Responsibilities include handling 60-80% phone work, independently managing workload to meet production and quality metrics, acting as hub across technology, revenue cycle, field sales, and lab teams, identifying issues/trends for best practices, participating in Quality Assurance, and complying with CLIA and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or associate or bachelor’s degree.
