Job Summary
Coordinate, plan, and deliver psychotherapeutic approaches for patients within the inpatient unit, providing individual, marital, family, and group therapy. Implement individualized treatment strategies while supervising staff execution of the treatment plan based on comprehensive assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and community providers to formulate realistic goals and modify plans as patient progress is assessed. Maintain positive partnerships with external services, communicate with families, and assist in discharge planning development. Function as a communication coordinator and role model for departmental staff, ensuring accessibility and visibility within the Rapid City facility. Requires a Master's degree and Licensed Professional Counselor license in South Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor License – South Dakota Department of Social Services Certifications
- Certified Social Work Case Manager (CSWCM) - Accredited University or accredited training professionals
- Licensed Family and Therapist
- 3+ years healthcare experience
