Job Summary
Coordinate, plan, and deliver psychotherapeutic approaches for patients across the inpatient unit continuum. Provide individual, marital, family, and group therapy while developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies. Communicate with families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and discharge planners to formulate realistic plans and modify treatment as progress is assessed. Maintain positive partnerships with community providers, assist in discharge planning, and function as a communication coordinator and role model for departmental staff. Requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, plus a Licensed Professional Counselor License in South Dakota and 3+ years of healthcare experience. PRN schedule with hourly rates ranging from $28.74 to $39.53.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor License – South Dakota Department of Social Services Certifications
- Certified Social Work Case Manager (CSWCM) - Accredited University or accredited training professionals OR Licensed Family and Therapist
- 3+ years healthcare experience
- The ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
