Mental Health Counselor NEX

Provide inpatient mental health services for adults in an Aurora Psychiatric Hospital setting, including monitoring individual, group and family therapies, assisting with admission/discharge, conducting mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services. Maintain timely and accurate documentation per guidelines, perform safety checks and unit tours for new patients, manage milieu to ensure a ligature-free environment, and support clinical staff with vital signs, blood sugar and ADLs. Emphasis on patient-focused care and collaboration across care teams; requires ability to work rotating shifts and handle potentially stressful situations in an inpatient psychiatric environment.
