Job Summary
Provide clinically therapeutic programs and treatment in inpatient behavioral health units using a trauma-informed clinical model. Deliver group, individual, and family therapy while implementing psychosocial interventions established in patient treatment plans. Assist in stabilizing and treating patients during their stay, then provide feedback to the multidisciplinary team regarding patient strengths and treatment responsiveness. Collaborate with the team to support discharge planning and interventions that facilitate rapid stabilization and movement back into the community or the next level of care. Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Creative/Expressive Arts with relevant licensure and two years of inpatient mental health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other mental health related field from an accredited school, or from a school in candidacy status by the appropriate higher education council
- LCSW with the state of Oregon required
- Licensure as an LICSW in the state of Washington required as needed based on work location(s)
- Master's Degree in Recreational therapy from an accredited school, or from a school in candidacy status by the appropriate higher education council
- CTRS national credential is required
- Licensure in accordance with the appropriate Oregon state board is required
- Master's Degree in Creative/Expressive Arts from an accredited school, or from a school in candidacy status by the appropriate higher education council
- It is also required that this Masters degree be eligible for licensure as LPC or LMFT in accordance with the appropriate Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists
- LPC or LMFT licensure with the appropriate Oregon state board is required
- 2 years relevant experience in an inpatient mental health setting
- Experience with adult population preferably in an inpatient setting
- Experience with child/adolescent population preferably in an inpatient setting
- Experience with geriatric population preferably in an inpatient setting
