Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on inpatient behavioral health units, conducting patient observation and rounds; assist staff with patient care per treatment plans; monitor patients and report observations to staff; develop therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries; assist with activities of daily living; supervise patient activities and ensure safety; process admissions belongings; complete documentation in the EMR system; facilitate patient groups; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous PCT/PCA, CNA or Medical Assistant experience required
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or human services field preferred
