Job Summary
The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual and group counseling under the supervision of a LICSW, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Key responsibilities include developing and assisting with care plans, collaborating with community providers, facilitating support groups, educating patients and families about behavioral health treatment, and maintaining accurate patient records. Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, BLS Certification, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and hold Massachusetts Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) certification. Regular participation in quality improvement activities and travel between sites is required.
