Job Summary
Mental Health Counselor for Day Treatment Program at Alexander Youth Network in Charlotte, NC. Manages behavior and treatment progress of child clients, coordinates service delivery by assessing needs of child and family and linking with appropriate services, leads group activities to support treatment goals, ensures that the Person-Centered Plan is created, modified, and reviewed through the Child and Family Team, and provides agency vehicle transportation as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s/Associate degree in Social Work or related field and 2–4 years of experience as a Qualified Professional in child mental health/day treatment; familiarity with MS Office preferred; valid driver’s license in state of residency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human service field
- Qualified Professional (QP) with 2–4 years of experience in child mental health and/or day treatment
- Valid driver's license in state of residency
