Job Summary
Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations for clients and their families, providing counseling and psychotherapy services to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning. Develop tailored treatment plans with specific goals and objectives, offer crisis intervention when needed, and document care while consulting with supervisors regarding care decisions on a regular basis. Follow up with patients to ensure they're receiving the best possible care. Requires independent licensure or proximity to exam eligibility, a Master's degree in mental health counseling or related field, and 1-3 years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients
- current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor)
- Independent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc
- at least a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology
