Job Summary
We seek an experienced Mental Health Coordinator II to provide leadership, coordination, and direct support within a residential setting, coordinating services (finances, activities, program services, behavioral supports, family involvement, education/vocational services, healthcare, nutrition, and household management), assist supervision with programming consistency, create/manage staff schedules, implement behavior support and plan-based services, provide direct care during shifts, use de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques, maintain professional relationships with individuals served and teams, and travel within a designated region to support programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum of three years’ experience delivering behavioral health services
- Basic computer skills
- At least one year of lead staff experience in residential services, a two-year degree in a related field, or demonstrated leadership among peers in behavioral services
- Experience supporting individuals with significant mental health symptoms, including physical or verbal aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury, and cognitive impairments
