Job Summary
Coordinate and provide direct and indirect mental health services and treatment for students while planning, coordinating, and conducting administrative and programmatic activities for the student mental health program. Implement a comprehensive program emphasizing prevention, early detection, and identification of mental health problems. Advise the center director and wellness services staff on staffing requirements, advisability of student terminations, and costs of services including inpatient facility use. Promote integration with other center departments such as counseling, social development, and recreation. Coordinate case management between TEAP/TUPP staff, counselors, wellness staff, physicians, and instructors regarding student behavior, compliance, medication, and treatment progress. Provide training to center staff on mental health referrals and follow-up care. Assist in program development, consultation, treatment planning, and referral for the TEAP/TUPP program. Full-time day schedule with $78,000 annual pay.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- two (2) years related experience
- Experience with youth
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- computer proficiency
- Valid Utah driver's license
- an acceptable driving record
