Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and conduct administrative and programmatic activities for the student mental health program, emphasizing prevention, early detection, and identification of mental health problems. Implement the program in compliance with government and management directives while promoting integration with center departments such as counseling, social development, and recreation. Review and audit assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and service delivery effectiveness, prepare related reports, and coordinate case management between TEAP/TUPP staff, counselors, physicians, and instructors regarding student behavior, medication, and treatment progress. Ensure all mental health records are properly maintained and safeguarded in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical/counseling psychologist or clinical social worker
- One (1) years related experience
- Valid, unrestricted California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psychologist) license
- Experience with adolescents and young adults
- Experience with youth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledge of HIPAA standards
