Job Summary

Provide evidence-based treatment and psychoeducation, including individual Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and CBT-E, alongside standardized assessments for eating disorders and trauma-related symptoms. Co-facilitate psychotherapy groups such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Skills Coaching as assigned within the multi-disciplinary stepped-care Eating Disorders Program. Contribute to departmental service efficiency and participate in relevant research activities. Deliver culturally-sensitive care while documenting according to professional standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Masters degree program in Health and/or Social Sciences, with three (3) years practical and related experience
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree program in Health and/or Social Sciences, with 8 to 10 years practical and related experience
  • Registration licensure with an Ontario professional body whose members are authorized to independently perform the controlled act of psychotherapy (CNO, CRPO, OCSWSSW, CPO, COTO, etc)
  • Experience working with individuals with eating disorders, substance use, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and/or serious mental illness, providing evidence-based treatment (i.e., CBT, DBT)
  • Proven knowledge of the mental health continuum of care
  • Excellent problem-recognition and solution-focused skills
  • Proven ability to effectively provide treatment in a culturally-sensitive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to document according to professional and organizational standards
  • Experience working effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in CBT and/or DBT
