Job Summary
Mental Health Clinician provides evaluation and treatment services for adult patients across individual, family, and group therapy within ThedaCare Behavioral Health in Waupaca, WI. Responsibilities include diagnosing/assessing patient status using DSM-5, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, documenting records in accordance with regulatory requirements, coordinating referrals, and supporting team-based care. The role involves educating and mentoring students, interns, residents, observers, and volunteers, and may include peer-to-peer review or clinical collaboration as directed by supervision. Requires a Master’s degree in mental health or counseling and Wisconsin licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) plus BLS and MOAB within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in mental health or counseling
- Current State of Wisconsin License as an LPC or LCSW or LMFT
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) obtained within 90 days of hire
