Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy tertiary qualification
• •Current registration or eligibility for membership with the relevant professional body
• •Current Mental Health Accreditation with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• •Eligibility to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
• •Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based mental health interventions
• •Strong clinical reasoning
• •Communication skills
• •Interpersonal skills
• •Experience in, or a strong interest in, perinatal and infant mental health
• •Commitment to person-centred care

• •Ability to provide comprehensive assessment, case formulation and care planning
• •Ability to deliver evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions
• •Ability to support clients experiencing mental health concerns, including perinatal and infant mental health presentations
• •Ability to work collaboratively with mothers, infants, partners and families
• •Ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, referrers and external service providers
• •Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, case notes and professional correspondence
• •Ability to demonstrate reflective practice
• •Ability to contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• •Ability to uphold professional, ethical and legal standards in accordance with AHPRA, AASW/APS, ACHS and St John of God Health Care policies and procedures
• •Ability to contribute to a safe environment through adherence to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
• •Ability to work in the Blacktown region of Western Sydney
• •Ability to work on a permanent full-time basis
• •Ability to work 38 hours a week
