Job Summary
Provide mental health nursing within an intensive home and community-based, recovery-oriented service. Implement the Strengths Model to empower individuals in recovery, foster therapeutic alliances with consumers and involve families/carers in comprehensive care planning and evaluation. Conduct thorough assessments, deliver targeted interventions, and provide treatment for individuals with intricate mental health needs. Contribute to primary, secondary, and tertiary consultation services, engage in community development, and liaise with other supportive agencies. Ensure compliance with activity-based funding requirements and maintain thorough documentation of daily contacts, phase of care, outcomes, and diagnoses. Salary classifications range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 NP81 - NP74 ($107,546 - $119,438 per annum pro rata).
Required Qualifications
- RPN Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health for nursing
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal history check, or willing to obtain
- Minimum of at least 2 years post-qualification clinical experience within Mental Health
