Job Summary
Provide multi-culturally informed generalist mental health counseling services, including screenings for general mental health, substance use, and attention problems, to college students during the heavily demanded Fall and Spring semesters. Intervene in crisis and emergency situations involving students, while consulting with families, faculty, staff, and other professionals regarding student mental health needs. Deliver psycho-educational programming to various university groups and maintain clinical records with external practitioners as necessary. Participate in clinical staff meetings and assume responsibility for assigned administrative duties, including potential committee service. This full-time, 12-month position is located at the Hamilton campus with some travel required to the Middletown campus.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in an appropriate accredited mental health training program (social work, mental health counseling, psychology, etc.)
- Dependently licensed or licensed eligible in Ohio within one's field of training
- Independently licensed in Ohio within one's field of training
- Criminal background check
