Job Summary
Mobile Crisis Clinician/Licensed Responder provides crisis intervention, clinical assessments, psychotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation to remediate psychiatric or substance use symptoms, de-escalate crises, and coordinate referrals in community and telehealth settings across Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oswego counties. The role supports crisis response in person or telephonically, with an emphasis on rapid assessment, safety planning, and follow-up, and requires licensure in NY and a minimum of two years post-graduate mental health experience. Schedule is per diem with flexible shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends, and agency holidays; travel to client sites (including private homes, shelters, or public spaces) is required; pay structure includes on-call shifts and differential follow-up compensation; travel, documentation, confidentiality, and trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches are mandated. The position is within Liberty Resources’ Mobile Crisis Team, engaging multidisciplinary colleagues and community partners to reduce hospitalizations and promote stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in NY as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Licensed Behavioral Analyst, Physician (including Psychiatrist) and Addictionologist/Addiction Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Occupational Therapist who meets 42 C.F.R. 440.110(b)(2)
