Job Summary
Part-time (0.8 EFT) Mental Health Clinician in the iACT Team for Infant Child and Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing Service. Provides intake, assessment, consultation and brief treatment for ages 0-17 with up to six sessions of initial assessment/treatment, works within a centralized entry point, collaborates with paediatricians, Headspace and schools, participates in phone-access triage, and is based primarily in Dandenong with standard business hours (8:30am–5:00pm). Roles span across psychology, social work, nursing and occupational therapy within an allied health framework; includes involvement with CATT/ECATT teams and family-focused care, and requires probity checks and immunisation as part of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health professional
- Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Nurse)
- Experience in infant, child and youth mental health settings (preferred)
- Involvement in community-based assessments and brief treatments (iACT context)
- Ability to participate in rotating rosters and triage referrals
- Compliance with probity checks (Police Check, Working with Children Check, immunisation)
