Mental Health Clinician - Intake And Assessment

Job Summary
Provide intake and assessment services for individuals and families experiencing mental health and addictions concerns. Build effective alliances with callers and referral sources, collect information, triage and evaluate risk, and deliver crisis intervention when indicated. Collaborate with primary health care providers, individuals, families/natural supports, and community services to determine the best service fit. Maintain knowledge of regional Mental Health and Addictions program services, coordinate with province-wide services, and utilize the ambulatory module of Altera Sunrise. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and flexible scheduling; support a term position with in-person service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited education institution
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body
