Job Summary
Provide episodic, trauma-informed, person-centered therapy to youth and adults using evidence-based practices, including individual, group, and family sessions. Conduct initial intake assessments, preliminary diagnoses, and treatment recommendations while maintaining confidential client records. Facilitate client treatment groups, co-facilitate sessions, and develop safety plans for crisis intervention and stabilization. Represent the agency to the community, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and coordinate discharge planning with community partners. Maintain professional credentials, complete required training, and meet productivity standards in virtual, office, or community-based settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from accredited college or university
- Must apply for a Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from the WA State Department of Health within 30 days of hire
- Must have an unrestricted and valid driver's license
- Must have active car insurance
- Must be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work
- Must be able to drive a vehicle
- Must be able to traverse distances up to several city blocks
- Must be able to navigate stairs
- Must be able to get in and out of vehicles frequently
- Must be able to lift 10 - 20 pounds
- Daily use of a computer is required
- Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes pertaining to the treatment and delivery of mental health services
- Knowledge of and experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy modalities
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, traumatic experiences, cultures, education level and socio-economic status
- Requires travel to see clients in the community
- Requires travel between work sites
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience providing clinical behavioral health services
