Job Summary
Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and clinical services for clients in the Substance Use Disorder Outpatient Treatment Program. Evaluate intake information, establish medical necessity using ASAM criteria, and determine diagnoses based on DSM IV. Develop individualized intervention plans addressing behavioral needs, co-occurring disorders, and substance abuse factors. Maintain medical records per quality improvement guidelines, consult with community agencies, and provide training to clinical staff. Administer internal and external program standards, deliver case management and group counseling, and perform drug testing specimen collections. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm under Program Manager supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Therapy and Counseling at the Master's level
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology or social work from an accredited university
- At least 2 years' experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed or License Eligible with the State of California MFT or LCSW or other relevant counseling credential
- Associate Clinician AMFT, ASW, APCC, Trainees or other relevant counseling credential
- Ethics and standards relevant to client/staff interactions in therapeutic, case management, and/or health and human services environments
- Bilingual Spanish
- CPR certification or be willing to acquire on the job
- Ability to pass a physical examination
- Ability to pass a tuberculin skin test
- Ability to pass alcohol and drugs, including marijuana testing
- Medical clearance certifying absence of TB
- Fingerprint clearance
- Criminal check
- Free from exclusion and debarment
- Verification of current driver's license
- Verification of automobile insurance
