Job Summary
The Access Clinician provides first contact for individuals seeking mental health/substance abuse services, conducting screenings and assessments to determine eligibility and level of care for initial and ongoing services. Responsibilities include triage, level of care authorization/reauthorization, coordination with other providers, disease-specific education, follow-up/outreach to reduce higher levels of care, and facilitating treatment within the provider network. Duties may include crisis response, OBRA reviews, COFR arrangements, continued stay/discharge planning for high-acuity psychiatric and SUD placements, and potential crisis stabilization duties (evenings, weekends, holidays). Located in Ludington, MI with on-site, in-person responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s level position
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
