Job Summary
Deliver high-quality mental health services to detainees in immigration detention, ensuring care that respects dignity, culture, values, and rights. Provide line management for the primary health care team while supporting the Health Service Manager to maintain smooth operations. Identify service delivery issues, drive change initiatives, and implement sustainable, person-centred solutions that improve health outcomes. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance service delivery. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary team delivering addiction care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing degree
- minimum of five years' post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting
- postgraduate qualification in mental health (AQF recognised)
- relevant qualifications and experience
