Job Summary
Mental Health Clinical Supervisor in the Foster Care Mental Health program overseeing direct clinical supervision of foster care therapists, crisis intervention, caseload management, and collaboration to ensure timely assessments and adherence to OMH/ACS/OCFS regulations. Responsibilities include supervising therapists, coordinating referrals and case assignments within 48 hours, monitoring productivity and caseloads, facilitating bi-weekly case conferences, leading trainings, ensuring documentation compliance, and serving as liaison across foster care and mental health teams. Requires MSW/LCSW, supervisory experience, and experience with trauma-focused models (e.g., TF-CBT, CBT, Trauma Systems Therapy); bilingual Spanish/English preferred; evening coverage may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work required
- Valid New York State LCSW Required
- 2 years Supervisory Experience preferred
- Strong clinical experience especially in childhood trauma required
- Experience with Foster Care population required
