Job Summary
Greet consumers, answer phone calls, direct calls to staff, and take messages. Perform complex data entry, run reports, and obtain purchase orders for supplies. Schedule appointments for center staff, mail reminder letters one week prior, and place reminder calls one day prior. Collect payments, financial information, and insurance cards; make bank deposits as necessary. File paperwork in clinical records, pull charts, copy information, and forward subpoenas per system directives. Reconcile lab billing monthly. Serve as backup to the Medication Clerk or receptionist as needed. Work with minimal supervision within established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Attend all appropriate meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from standard high school or equivalent
- Must possess working knowledge of fax machine
- Must possess working knowledge of personal computer
- Must possess working knowledge of copier
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be insurable to drive Center vehicles
- Must attend all appropriate meetings
- Must be able to interact in a professional manner with a variety of staff members, consumers, family members, and community agencies
- Must be able to learn about and implement trauma-informed practices within the scope of work for the position
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Windows 95 software
- Experience with Microsoft Word
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 40wpm
