Job Summary
Mental Health Case Manager responsibilities include direct client interaction, maintaining confidentiality, developing and updating service plans, coordinating meetings and workshops, linking clients to resources, facilitating core curriculum programs, and ensuring compliance with training and documentation requirements. The role requires a Master’s degree (MSW preferred, or related human services field), at least two years of professional mental health counseling experience, strong communication and group facilitation skills, ability to pass background checks, a valid driver's license, and flexible hours. Located in Camden, NJ with in-person work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferably in Social Work (MSW); Master’s degree in Counseling or another Human Services related field may be considered
- minimum of two (2) years professional experience in mental health counseling and working with special needs populations
- practical skills in communication, counseling processes and resource development
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to interact appropriately with clientele
- basic computer skills preferred
- demonstrate competency in core curriculum facilitation
- ability to pass criminal background clearance from funding source
- valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driver standards
- flexible hours including some weekends and evenings
- bilingual is a plus
