Job Summary
Coordinate treatment for adolescents in a residential setting through individual and family counseling, group therapy, and skills training. Oversee treatment planning, progress tracking, and reporting while supervising Youth Service Workers and ensuring adherence to the treatment model. Provide 24-hour on-call crisis intervention, including rotational weekend duties, and manage transportation as required. Participate in weekly DCS and Child and Family Team meetings to maintain continuity of care. Complete assessments, contact notes, monthly progress reports, and discharge summaries. Work extended hours exceeding 40 weeks per week as needed for unit coverage and ratio compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral science
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Insurable by FCA's auto insurance carrier
- 24+ years of age
- Able to perform keyboarding for extended periods
- Average to above visual and auditory capabilities
- Physically capable of meeting Handle with Care (restraint) training and application requirements
- Must be able to perform CPR/First Aid processes
- Able to stand or sit for extended periods
- Able to squat, bend, stoop, jump and/or climb steps/stairs as necessary without risk of injury
- Able to walk and/or run a quarter mile continuously
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Work extended hours as needed (>40 per week)
- Must be able to provide individual counseling two times per week
- Must be able to provide family counseling twice per month
- Must be able to provide group therapy to adolescents as assigned
- Must be able to coordinate and participate in Child and Family Team Meetings throughout the treatment program
- Must have the ability to communicate oral and written information clearly
- Must be able to complete assessments, treatment plans, contact notes, progress notes, monthly progress reports, discharge summaries
- Must be able to supervise all treatment components for adolescents on the units
- Must be able to provide 24 hour on-call crisis intervention
- Must be able to provide transportation as required by the residential unit
- Must be able to understand the principle method for monitoring the treatment model
- Must be able to ensure the quality of care for the treatment unit
- Must be able to supervise the adolescents
- Must be able to provide positive modeling for the Youth Service Workers
- Must be able to participate in weekly DCS and treatment team meetings
- Must be able to provide professional case management for the adolescents on the unit
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and program components
- Must be able to provide staff leadership
- Must be able to track and report adolescents' treatment progress
- Must be able to adhere to the treatment model
