Job Summary
Mental Health Caregiver role at Sevita within REM Community Services involves providing community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting participants in achieving developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition), fostering meaningful relationships, promoting participation in community activities, and helping participants live well. Requirements include a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as per Sevita policy and experience in a high medical setting; no HS diploma required and no prior human services experience needed as training is provided. Compensation is $20.36/hour with a benefits package for full-time employees, PTO, holiday pay, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for growth. The role is based in Buffalo, MN with in-person work schedule (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 8am–3pm and alternating weekends 10am–10pm). Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Driver's License for at least 1 year post permit and a clean Motor Vehicle Record that meet's Sevita insurability policy
- Experience in a high medical house is required
- Pay is $20.36/hr
- Education: No High School Diploma or equivalent required for Direct Support Professional role.
