Job Summary
Perform direct and indirect patient care activities for mental health patients, including technical duties in support of nursing care under RN supervision. Lead and co-facilitate educational and activity groups while assisting with milieu management to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree, Basic Life Support certification within 90 days, and Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 15 days. First shift days work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center serving Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore.

Desired Qualifications
- 1-year Behavioral Health work experience
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and abnormal human behavior
