Mental Health Associate, Emergency Mental Health, 32 Hours, Evenings

Participates as a member of the mental health team on inpatient and/or outpatient units, providing direct patient care including treatment planning, implementing plans, documentation, and milieu safety assessments and activities. Leads or co-leads group activities (goal setting, dual diagnosis, and other therapeutic groups) and uses de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment. Performs vital signs, basic procedures (EKG, phlebotomy, intake/output), and assists with medical/psychiatric interventions under RN direction; supports patient independence and comfort through daily care activities and overall care coordination.
